Starch, water, caustic soda and borax are dosed according to stored recipes, eliminating the errors of manual preparation.

Consistent glue from batch to batch helps the corrugator run steadily, gives flat board and good bonding, and keeps starch consumption under control.

Machine overview

The system consists of a starch and chemical feeding unit, mixing tank, storage tank and glue supply pump, with PLC/HMI control. Ingredients are dosed by loadcells; glue viscosity is controlled automatically. Batch volume is 800 – 1800 litres depending on configuration.

Machine in operation

Applications

Glue supply for the single facers and glue machine of 1.8 m corrugated lines.

Replacement of manual glue preparation areas.

Key features

Loadcell dosing: starch and chemicals are dosed to recipe in every batch.

Automatic viscosity control.

Batch volume: 800 – 1800 litres.

PLC/HMI control: recipe storage and automatic batch sequence.

Practical benefits

Consistent glue, less dependence on the operator preparing it.

Controlled consumption of starch and chemicals.

Steady corrugator running, fewer delamination and warp defects.

Suitable customers

Plants running 1.8 m corrugated lines.

Plants that want to automate the glue preparation area.

Technical specifications

Parameter

Value

Model

1800

Suitable corrugator width

1.8 m

Batch volume

800 – 1800 litres/batch (depending on configuration)

Dosing

Loadcells

Viscosity control

Automatic

Control

PLC/HMI

Specifications are given as standard configuration ranges; actual values depend on the model and the configuration ordered.
