With excellent wear resistance, the loss of flute height is only 0.06\u20130.08 mm over each service period. The flute profile does not deform and glue consumption does not rise as the flute tips wear. This minimises waste in board production and ensures uniform board quality.<\/p>\n

3. Lower raw material cost of corrugated board<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thanks to its very high wear resistance, tungsten carbide minimises loss of flute height, reducing paper consumption by more than 1% compared with chrome rolls.
\nLess wear of the flute profile can reduce consumption costs by 20\u201350%, while keeping the glue line thickness even.
\nAvoids the quality limits of board made on ordinary rolls and reduces waste by 30\u201350%.<\/p>\n
