Rotary die-cut waste stripper – automatic waste removal after rotary die cutters
After a rotary die cutter, blanks often still carry pieces of die-cut waste (hand holes, vent holes, cut-out sections). Removing waste by hand is labour-intensive and easily tears the blanks.
The vibrating waste stripper uses vibration and air flow to separate the waste from the blanks at the machine delivery, before the blanks are collected and stacked.
Machine overview
The unit consists of a vibration section driven by an inverter-controlled motor, plastic bead belts that carry and vibrate the blanks, and a high-pressure blower that pushes the waste off the blanks. Blank sizes from 400 × 600 mm to 1600 × 2600 mm, speed 120 – 200 sheets/min.
