Automatic slotter RS4 – slotting with vacuum feeder

The automatic slotter (RS4 type) slots, cuts the glue flap and creases corrugated box blanks with automatic feeding. Blanks are fed one at a time by a vacuum lead edge feeder and then pass through the creasing and slotting sections.

Compared with a semi-automatic slotter, it gives much higher output and steadier feeding, and is less dependent on the operator.

Machine overview

The machine consists of a lead edge feeder, a creasing shaft section and a slotting shaft section. Knife phase is adjusted electronically through 360 degrees, so the slot position along the blank length can be set quickly and accurately without a long stop at job change.
