When a machine stops on a fault, the plant needs the root cause identified correctly and the machine back in production in the shortest possible time, with a repair reliable enough that the fault does not return. PTS Industries Co., Ltd. provides repair and troubleshooting services for paper packaging machinery and equipment, from single breakdowns to major overhauls and full reconditioning.
Scope of repair
- Mechanical: drive trains, gears, shafts, bearings, chains, cams, feeding and delivery mechanisms, load-bearing and wear assemblies.
- Electrical: cabinets, motors, inverters, servo drives, power and control circuits.
- Automation: PLCs, HMI panels, sensors, control systems and safety interlocks.
Work is carried out on site at the customer plant, or assemblies are taken to the PTS service workshop where machining or reconditioning is required.
Two types of repair
Breakdown repair
For machines that stop unexpectedly or run unstably. The technician diagnoses the cause, fixes it and confirms with a test run. PTS can provide emergency support or work by appointment, depending on the impact on production.
Major overhaul
For machines with many years of service, declining accuracy or several assemblies deteriorating at the same time. PTS surveys the machine, draws up the list of work items, dismantles and inspects, replaces or reconditions parts and re-aligns the whole machine.
Typical work completed
Major overhaul of flexo printers
Full repair and maintenance of flexo printers: dismantling and inspection of the feeding unit, print units and drive train; replacement of worn parts and re-alignment of the machine. Some projects combine the overhaul with functional upgrades.
Major overhaul of die cutters
Inspection, repair and maintenance of the die cutter platen section; pressure adjustment; replacement of chains, gripper bars, connecting rods and bushings. These items directly affect die cutting accuracy and machine safety.

Service workflow

- Site survey & scope definition: machine condition is assessed and a solution is proposed.
- Quotation & agreement: a detailed quotation is issued; cost and schedule are agreed.
- Planning & approval: manpower, tools and spare parts are prepared.
- Execution: on schedule, safely and to the agreed technical requirements.
- Handover & acceptance: test run, handover and operator instruction.
To limit repeat failures, plants should combine repairs with preventive maintenance; for older machines, upgrading and retrofitting may be worth considering instead of restoration alone.
